Amasya
Amasya, built on both banks of the Yeşilırmak river, is one of Türkiye's most photogenic cities, with Pontic royal tombs carved into the cliffs and the Yalıboyu houses along the river. Ottoman princes were trained here, and it is famous for its apples.
