Havran

Havran is a district on the fertile plain reaching towards the Gulf of Edremit. Olive growing is the backbone of its economy, and höşmerim and roasted chickpeas (leblebi) are among its known local flavours. Koca Seyit, a hero of the Gallipoli campaign, was from the district.
