Founded in 1982, the Amasra Museum has four halls, two archaeological and two ethnographic. The archaeology halls display Bronze Age arrowheads and Roman and Byzantine ceramics, glass, metalwork and icons, while the museum garden holds stone pieces from the Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine, Genoese and Ottoman periods.
