Gölcük Nature Park is an artificial reservoir lake, 13 km south of central Bolu at an elevation of 1,217 metres. The lake covers 4.5 hectares with a shoreline of about 1,300 metres, surrounded by pine, fir and beech forest. With its walking paths and picnic areas, it is one of Bolu's frequently visited nature parks.
