Süloğlu, in the northeast of Edirne province, lies on the border with Kırklareli. It was incorporated into Turkish territory on 22 November 1922 under the terms of the Armistice of Mudanya; the Balkan Martyrs' Monument, raised for soldiers who fought in the Balkan Wars, and the recreation area around the Süloğlu Dam are among its notable spots.
