Olur, in the Çoruh Valley, is a district at the transition point between Eastern Anatolia and the Eastern Black Sea. The Vank Castle and Church, dated to the Byzantine or Roman period, and the Ottoman-era Tahta Mosque are the district's historic structures, and Lake Beğendik and the Kivi Cave can also be seen.
