Kadırga Plateau, on the border between Kürtün and the Tonya district of Trabzon east of the Zigana Pass, is known for highland festivities held in late July and early August. Thousands from surrounding provinces attend the Kadırga Festival, organised annually by Kürtün Municipality on the third Friday of July.
