Lake Kovada National Park, within the borders of Eğirdir and Sütçüler districts, was declared in 1970. Its main asset is the shallow Kovada Lake, 29km south of central Eğirdir, along with the natural forest cover and rich plant and animal life around it; the area was declared a first-degree natural site in 1992. It has walking and cycling trails.
