Beylikdüzü is a district on İstanbul's western Marmara shore, created in 2008 from the merger of the Gürpınar and Yakuplu municipalities and known for its planned development. Its shoreline has cycling paths and recreation areas, and it is home to West İstanbul Marina and Ambarlı Port, a major container port.
