Beydağ

Beydağ lies in south-eastern İzmir province, close to the Aydın border, and is one of the province's smallest districts by population. Renamed from Balyambolu to Beydağ in 1926, it became a separate district in 1987 after splitting from Ödemiş. Local livelihoods rest on growing figs, chestnuts and olives.
