A large 13th-century Seljuk caravanserai on the Kayseri-Sivas road.

Built between 1232 and 1236 under Sultan Alaeddin Keykubad I, the caravanserai has a covered section and an open courtyard, with a raised kiosk mosque in the middle of the courtyard as its symbol. Mentioned in both Seljuk and Mamluk-period sources, it stood on an important trade route of its time.
