The Kilis Museum opened in 2012 in the Neşet Efendi Mansion, built in 1927. The archaeology section on the ground floor displays, in chronological order, objects from the Palaeolithic to the Roman and Byzantine periods, most of them from the excavations at Oylum Mound. The ethnography section upstairs has rooms recreating a traditional Kilis home, including a guest room, a bedroom and a kitchen fitted with copper vessels.
