Built at the end of the 13th century, the Eşrefoğlu Mosque is among the finest wooden-columned mosques in Anatolia, with cedar columns, a tiled mihrab and a painted wooden ceiling. In 2023 it was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List together with other medieval wooden hypostyle mosques of Anatolia.
