Kaynarca

Kaynarca, in the northwest of Sakarya province, lies on the Black Sea coast. The Şeyh Muslihiddin Mosque in Topçu village, built in 1486 using the çantı timber-frame technique, is the district's oldest Ottoman building; the ash forests around Lake Acarlar, 700 metres from the sea, are home to a wide range of wildlife.
