Boğazlıyan is known for the Bahariye hot springs, declared a thermal tourism centre in 2001. Within the district are underground city remains at Özler town and the villages of Karakoç and Aşağıhasinli, as well as Yazıkışla, a hilltop Roman-era temple built of hewn stone.
