Eldivan, south-west of Çankırı, is a district covered in pine and oak forest and home to some of Türkiye's notable cherry orchards, celebrated each year with a Cherry Festival. The Bülbül Pınarı picnic area and Karadere pond are favoured for picnics and walks.
