Şırnak
Şırnak is a mountainous province surrounded by the Cudi and Gabar mountains. Cizre on the Tigris has the tomb of Mem and Zin, a tomb attributed to Noah and the Red Madrasa, and Mount Cudi is held in Islamic tradition to be where Noah's Ark came to rest. Access to some mountain areas may require permission, so check the current situation before you go.
